The Artisan Crafter

Kawaii RoxX is a series of adventures related to my life as a polymer clay Crafter.

Eiji et Ryoko Shima (j’ai appris en rédigeant cet article que la saison 2 est sorti en 2011  )

RYO’ RAISES THE SAIL!

My pseudonym comes from a mythical character, drawn from a manga triller "Psychometer Eiji" designed by Masashi Asaki and written by Yūma Andō, I named Ryoko Shima, who plays an inspecter whose personality sticks perfectly to mine .

For a long time, I was cradled by Japanese cartoons, finding the charadesign simply magnificent, worthy of the Disney elders. So I was greatly influenced by this Japanese flow, then interested in Japan where I would dream of setting foot, one day soon.

As for my professional career, I did my second in Plastic Arts, which earned me a total disgust of modern art, among other things, and a rejection for all that is to draw. At that time, the Japanese style was less tolerated than today, demonized to excess at all levels and I was very surprised by the narrowness of those who say they are bathed in art .... So I started studying trade and got my degrees in this sector.

2006 was the year of my Rebirth

I took the pencil and with pleasure, I began to draw again. I participated in various fanzines (a collection of amateur cartoonists in a specific genre) and I even created my own fanzine with josei influences. After two years of fanzinat, struck by the illness and the hypocrisy of the fanzinat, I retired to later set up my comics project. Despite the different proposals received to become professional, I put down my pencil to be able to provide material support for everyday life, I tasted the joy of temporary work repeatedly. My pseudonym takes a second breath and becomes Ryo'.

FAt the end of August 2010, I frequented forums of Japanese fashions, I discovered polymer clay. My half, who supported me during all my trials, blew me the idea of creating my own work and becoming self-entrepreneur.
